Research Data Support Officer

Assists the research delivery team with the data management requirements of all clinical trials, maintaining accurate records and ensuring completeness of Research Data stored on file and electronically. Processes data relating to individual research studies including data input, resolving data queries, and verifying source data and accuracy. Liaises with academic and clinical researchers, external organisations and other staff involved in the research project within the Trust to ensure that accurate data is recorded, maintained, and reported to individual trials offices. In collaboration with the data managers, provide reports on research activity, performance and quality as requested by the Senior Research Nurse Team /R&D department.
Plans activities and prioritises workload to ensure that data queries, requests, and enquiries are delivered on time and in accordance with timescales set at national and local levels e.g., ensuring appropriate research study appointments are made within the required protocol timelines and relevant investigations arranged.
