SBU: Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care System [HWEICS] Research and Innovation Hub, School of Health and Social Work FTE:1.0 FTE at UH07 (working 37 hours per week) and 1.0 FTE at UH08 (working 37 hours per week) Duration of Contract: Fixed Term Two years Salary: UH07 Research Fellow: £37,099 pa with potential to progress to £44,263pa by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience. UH08 Senior Research Fellow: £44,263 pa with potential to progress to £56,021pa by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience. Annual Leave: 35 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year Location: College Lane Campus, Hatfield, Hertfordshire We are seeking to recruit a Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow to join the newly established Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care System [HWEICS] Research and Innovation Hub, School of Health and Social Work. Main duties and responsibilities An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the new HWEICS Research and Innovation Hub, based at the University of Hertfordshire. We are seeking two highly motivated and ambitious individuals who will work within a small team; You will need to be able to transfer and adapt your knowledge and skills to varying topic areas, dependent on need. You need to be able to prioritise responsibilities and be able to work in a complex environment, demonstrating creative solutions to problems. You will be expected to contribute to the growth of income and research activity for the new HWEICS Research and Innovation Hub. Skills and experience required It is essential that you have experience of working in a research environment or with a research team; this includes the established ability to form collaborative partnerships with other HEIs and/or external partners. Evidence of a sustained interest and knowledge of health-related research (and the underpinning skills) is also essential. Qualifications required At UH07, you will hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a health related subject. In addition, for appointment at UH08, You will also hold A PhD/Doctorate in a relevant subject area and/or substantial proven experience working in an NHS or social care setting.
