SalaryI have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Research Scientist at a vaccine specialist based in the south of the UK. If you are looking to be at the forefront of vaccine science, working with a team of experts in this field, this role may very well be for you.
This role is a permanent, full-time role. It has decent remuneration, and the chance to work with completely novel vaccine technology. If you are looking specifically to work within vaccines, and are a confident life scientist, this would be a brilliant step on your career path.
To be suitable for this role, you will need; A BSc or higher in a relevant scientific subject (ideally you will have a MSc or PhD, but BSc will be still be considered), preferably with a couple of years industrial laboratory experience. You will need experience in vaccine/biomolecule handling and biological assays such as ELISA, SDS PAGE, western blot, ELISpot, Size exclusion chromatography. Any experience in formulation related skills such as freeze-drying, spray drying and powder handling would be ideal, but are not essential to be considered.
