A position for a Senior Technician is available in the laboratory of Georgios Giamas, funded by Action Against Cancer (AAC). The post-holder will be responsible for contributing to projects involving the setup and execution of specific assays related to Glioblastoma research.
We are a very active research group http://www.sussex.ac.uk/lifesci/giamaslab/) embedded in a strong research culture. We are located in the vibrant city of Brighton and London is 1 hour away.
Applicants must be educated to at least Batchelor’s level in a Biomedical discipline, or have similar levels of experience. They should have some background in working with cancer models and establishing specific assays, in particular related to Glioblastoma research. Previous experience in this topic/area would be an advantage..
