RESERVATIONS INTERN (6 OR 12 MONTHS FTC)

39 hours, 5 days per week

We’re looking for a Reservations Intern to join our iconic Revenue & Reservations team.

As a Reservations Intern at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide administrative support to the team which may include (but not limited to) processing cancellations and changes to reservations, daily accuracy checks of reservations, honouring special VIP requests, room allocations, recording Travel Agent details, rate integrity checks, internal action request follow up and reservation clean up.
  • Full knowledge of rates and room types to process reservation requests by email for our guests and our internal customers (sales, Exec office and regional teams)
  • Knowledge of both properties facilities and services to be able to assist with guest queries.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; supporting the team to reach common goals.

As a Reservations Intern, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning and evening shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

To be a successful Reservations Intern candidate, you will be eager to learn about hotel operations and reservations, with a keen eye for detail. You will possess good administration and communication skills and be an adaptable individual.
