Leeds Trinity University offer accommodation to around 800 Students over 8 Halls of Residence on our Horsforth campus. We are now looking to formalise our existing Resident Mentor roles, so they become employees of the University under Student Support & Wellbeing.
We have 12 positions available at the Horsforth Campus and 3 positions available at our new Halls of Residence for our City Campus, based at Clarence Dock.
You will be a key point of contact for our students and whilst not expected to provide support, you will be able to listen to Student concerns and ensure they are supported by the right people and advocate on their behalf.
Resident Mentors will be required to live in Halls of Residence on campus and will be allocated a room. Whilst the role does not come with free accommodation the salary will match the monthly costs of the accommodation.
The role will involve providing drop-ins for Students, attendance at peer support and incident report meetings and providing a link between Student Support & Wellbeing services and the Students in your Halls of Residence.
This role is available to any registered Student at Leeds Trinity University and is for a one-year period with the role and accommodation starting in September 2024. Full training in the role will be provided before Students move into Halls of Residence.
