Residential Assistant

As a Residential Assistantat Kirk Lodge, no two days are the same, and your actions will directly impact the safety and security of the residents and building. What you’ll do:

• Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols. We also ensure that the safety and environment of our residents are of the utmost priority.
• Monitoring of CCTV, access control, and other protective systems
• Act as a first-line response to activations, incidents, or fault reporting.
• Log and transfer calls, relay messages, and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors, and staff.
• To carry out regular patrols throughout the shift.

What you bring:

• Ability to interact with staff, residents, consultants, visitors, and management, as well as local police and fire authorities
• Must be over the age of 18
• A standard SIA license is needed.
• Excellent communication and awareness skills
• Experience working in a similar
• Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures
• Due to the nature of the site, the premises are residential units that house ex-offenders in the community. This means that this role is subject to a full DBS clearance.

• 4 on 4 off nights 8pm-8am
• £11.64 per hour
