Location: Warrington, North West

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: 45-55,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

As a Residential Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in our project team, ensuring the successful delivery of our residential developments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed cost analysis and preparing estimates for residential construction projects.
• Collaborating with the project team to establish and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Evaluating and negotiating subcontractor and supplier agreements to secure the best value for the company.
• Managing and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Conducting regular site visits to assess progress and identify any variations or issues that may impact project costs.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions related to the project.
• Collaborating with other departments to optimise cost-effectiveness and efficiency in project delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the residential construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in the use of relevant software, such as MS Excel and industry-specific quantity surveying tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Membership with a relevant professional body (RICS, CIOB, etc.) is advantageous.
