Salary: £56,595 - £60,303
Retention bonus: £3,000 for 2023/24 paid in two halves
Hours: 37
Contract: Permanent
Base: Sir Henry Mitchell House (however subject to change)
Holidays: Up to 32 days holiday + 8 bank holidays a year

With responsibility for the effective leadership and management of the residential homes, you’ll ensure that the provision achieves good outcomes for vulnerable children and contributing to good outcomes for children in need of protection and/or looked after young people. You’ll provide specialist knowledge and experience for our children’s homes that provides support for children in care whilst ensuring that our children’s homes are operating within the inspection framework and children’s homes regulations and quality standards.
You’ll regularly review and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, policies, and procedures to ensure they align with best practices and regulatory requirements and collaborate with partner agencies to coordinate support services for children and young people. Maintaining open and regular communication with the families or guardians of children in care, keeping them informed of their child's progress and any significant developments will be critical.
