The service provides support to the young person up to the age of 18 years old., , Our model will provide an environment where they will receive positive experiences of reliable, consistent parenting through providing specific and structured care, with very clear consistent boundaries., , You will be part of a team in supporting the young person with their day-to-day personal needs, which will involve manual handling, as well as taking them to any medical appointments., , You'll be working within a supportive 2:1 ratio, with your Registered Manager, Team Leader, and fellow Residential Support Workers there every step of the way to guide and assist you., , How you'll help to create brighter futures, , , Let's talk about you, , , As part of your induction, we are committed to providing you with comprehensive training to enable you to support the young people. The training includes safe administration of medication, Team Teach, Manual handling, first aid and safeguarding as well as further training and access to extensive e-learning modules., , We will support you in registering with Social Care Wales and completion of the All Wales Induction Framework, as well supporting you to gain a Level 3 qualification with assigned hours off for study in our local college., , On top of this, you will train with experienced members of the team, which includes a 2-week shadowing period., , Our goal is to equip you with the necessary tools to excel in your role and confidently carry out your responsibilities to provide the highest level of support to the young person you will be caring for., , We value collaboration and teamwork and we believe that together, we can create a positive and impactful environment.
