About the role
Operational Support have the opportunity to work with our Resource Planning teams as a Support Analyst on an up to 9 month secondment.
The role is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the successful delivery of Resource Planning activity for channels across the function. Working directly with the team of analysts to enable effective and efficient staff resourcing schedules according to predicted workloads, balancing the demands of meeting required service levels, employee well-being and ongoing development.
It will also involve workforce planning management, including holiday booking, sickness recording, changes to shifts, recording of overtime and TOIL and planning of other key activities in line with the tolerances set within the forecasting schedule.
Working closely with Access Control, staff and managers to ensure that all new starters and movers have the relevant access as well as all leavers’ access is removed from their leave date and any role changes have the relevant access updated, all in accordance with the Society’s Information Security and related Policies are key parts of the role.
About you
To be successful in the role we’re looking for someone who is highly motivated, confident and already has the ability to interact effectively with peers, managers and senior stakeholders.
You’ll already have good planning and prioritisation skills with experience of working towards challenging deadlines and / or SLAs. You’ll have strong communication skills and will be a confident presenter, as you’ll need to put across ideas in a balanced, persuasive and informative manner with key stakeholders.
Experience of working in at least one of the telephony operational channels will be important, as will performing administrative support duties with Microsoft office, including strong Word and Excel skills.
