Salary```Overview:
We are seeking a Responsible Individual to join our team. As a Responsible Individual, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and the management of care for individuals in children's residential care home. This position requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the law and practice relating to looked after children.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all care provided meets the highest standards of quality and safety. - Lead the Ofsted registration process, in conjunction with the Registered Manager and relevant Directors.
- Confident knowledge in applicable regulations, national minimum standards / quality standards and statutory guidance.
- Provide guidance and support to caregivers and other staff members
- Collaborate with other professionals and services necessary to support the service
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent communication skills to interact with individuals, families, and other professionals
- In-depth knowledge of law and practice relating to looked after children
- Experience in children's residential care home settings
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
