Responsible Investment Senior Analyst - Asset Management - London

Key Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in supervising proxy voting for a global equity fund.
• Managing and overseeing external provider(s) of shareholder voting services.
• Advise clients and organisations in the industry on RI/ESG themes.
• Examine Stewardship activities for use in reporting.
• Partake in industry stewardship initiatives
• Maintain that shareholder voting aligns with policies and objectives.

Key Competencies:

• Undergraduate degree.
• Experience and understanding of proxy voting mechanics, platforms, policies, reporting.
• Familiarity with legislation, governance codes, and guidance collectively making up industry standards for public companies and institutional investors.
• High quality IT skills.
• Curiosity about active stewardship and ESG issues.
• Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders.
• Strong written and presentation skills.
