Senior Event-Driven Investment Analyst- Hedge Fund- London

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of corporate events such as mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and spin-offs to identify investment opportunities.
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess the potential impact of corporate events on company valuations and stock prices.
• Generate actionable investment ideas and recommendations based on in-depth research and analysis.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and other members of the investment team to implement and monitor event-driven investment strategies.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in event-driven investing within a Hedge Fund or asset management firm.
• Proven ability to analyze complex corporate events and identify investment opportunities that drive alpha.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate investment theses effectively to internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Experience with various event-driven strategies such as merger arbitrage, distressed debt, and special situations.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks governing corporate events.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
