Restaurant Fit out Contracts Manager Role – Job Specification
Our client is a well established restaurant, hotel and leisure fit-out contractor based in the Yorkshire area, working across the UK on high end bespoke projects. They have gone from strength to strength over their 20 year history. Due to continued expansion they are looking to take on an experienced Contracts Manager who will become an integral part of their operations team. This company offers continually exciting, flagship projects to work on, an excellent working environment and a clear path of progression to a potential Directorship.
The company specialise in Fit Outs for bespoke restaurants, bars and hotels as well as established global chain brands. They have in house joinery manufacturing facility which delivers projects for a variety of clients.
The role and responsibilities
- Running of multiple projects at any one time and to ensure that they are taken from contract award through to site implementation and successful completion.
- Involvement in pre-contract commercial responsibilities as well as operations.
- Involvement in design, planning, procurement and production stages.
- Overall responsibility for onsite managers under your remit.
- Liaising with clients to prepare, plan and execute required contracts to commence project.
- Review and monitor on-site progress enabling delivery of contract that meets scheduling and budget requirements.
- To use specialist knowledge to assess joinery options, to ensure best working methods are used with respect to scheduling and regulatory constraints.
- To make recommendations and implement any changes to ensure improvements are made and excellent service is provided to the customer.
Key Skills/Qualifications required
- Experience with running restaurant / hotel / leisure projects
- Involvement with pre-contract and commercial aspects of projects
- Self-Motivator with ability to work autonomously
- Attention to detail and great organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Good man management skills
