As part of the Food & Beverage team, Waiting team members have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional service during our guests’ dining experience with us. Duties include breakfast, lounge, afternoon tea, dinner and room services.
Responsibilities:
- Guest Service Excellence: Greet and assist guests with a warm and welcoming demeanour. Provide information about services, menus, and amenities, ensuring guests feel valued and attended to.
- Order Management: Efficiently handle reservations, seat guests, and manage walk-in traffic. Effectively communicate with kitchen and other departments to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Front Desk Support: Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and address guest inquiries. Utilize the hotel/restaurant management system to update records and manage reservations.
- Collaborative Team Player: Be ready to collaborate and support colleagues in various departments, such as food and beverage, housekeeping, and events, to ensure smooth operations during peak periods and special events.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary. Proactively seek solutions to ensure guest satisfaction and maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Be willing to cross-train and work in different departments as needed. This includes assisting with special events, banquets, or supporting other operational areas during peak times.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- Twelve months of previous restaurant experience required
- Previous experience in fine dining venues preferred
- Strong teamwork skills
- A positive can-do attitude

This position requires an applicant with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. We are looking to employ full time team members however seasonal and part-time applications will be considered. Split shifts may be required.
Applicants must possess a good level of English. Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United Kingdom.
