The Salhouse Stag are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager/host to join their wonderful team!
As a host and Restaurant Manager you will take ownership for the excellent food and beverage department, leading by example and ensuring a relaxed yet professional atmosphere for all customers.
About the Restaurant Manager role:
- The role would suit and experienced restaurant and/ or front of house host within a busy vibrant recently renovated village pub and restaurant.
- Reporting to the directors you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our vibrant and contemporary establishment as well as a busy food and beverage department.
- Ensuring the venue operates with efficiency and profitability
- Motivate your team, ensuring they continually provide high quality service whilst maintaining a hands on role during service
- Monitor and drive the venue revenue, upselling where possible
- Ensure your team maintain excellent standards and guests continually enjoy first class service
- Responsibility for staff training and development
- Creating a memorable experience for guests, whether they are there for morning coffee, drinks with friends or a three course dinner.
- Have ability to host a room and the ability to make people feel welcome and instantly at ease.
- Order and maintain stock levels.
- Organise and run rotas, holiday cover and day to day staff management.
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a restaurant or host manager or food and beverage manager
- Strong communication skills with a genuine passion for the industry
- Highly organised with a natural ability to lead
- A shared passion for exceeding customers’ expectations and going the extra mile.
