This well-established UK wide M&E Consultancy work heavily in the residential sector, working on a number of prestigious projects with some great developers on high level design and installation. They are in a period of growth so now they are looking to develop their Design team and are looking for an Senior Electrical Design Engineer to kickstart the electrical side of the team. This gives you the opportunity to take a leadership position in a newly developing team.
In this role you will be based from the office in Colchester. You will be responsible for completing Electrical Designs for a variety of projects within the residential sector, ensuring all projects are completed to a high technical standard, providing full stage 3-5 technical design on time and to budget. You will carry out work for both internal and external clients, getting involved in the design of projects where high level expertise is required. You will meet with clients and attend sites to ensure all installations are to specification.
The ideal candidate will be experienced with multiple years in a similar role from a consultancy or contracting background. You will need to be competent in Amtech and AutoCAD for this role and be familiar with the relevant legislation and building regulations.
