The Role:
As the Restaurant Manager you are responsible for managing operations of breakfast service to deliver an excellent guest experience.
- Ensure that the departments team maintain exceptional levels of customer service
- Ensure the teamwork within the compliance of brand standards
- Recruit, manage, train and develop the team in product service, knowledge , and all legal requirements
- Manage and support your team in managing guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to equipment and payroll
- Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
- Work closely with the breakfast chefs and kitchen team to ensure service standards
- Accountable for monthly stock takes
- Incentivise team members to maximize sales and revenue
- Carry out annual and mid-year appraisals with team members under your responsibility
- Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated
- Be environmentally aware
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
As Restaurant Manager you will ensure that team are in Health Safety expectation and comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation with the company policies and procedures.
