Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our retail team. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing knowledgable and warm service to our customers and assisting them in finding the products they are most interested in. If you have excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and enjoy working in a comfortable retail environment, we would love to hear from you. We are also looking for someone who may want to become involved in other roles such as content creation for social media with a potential for visual merchandising and social media marketing.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers in finding products and answer any questions they may have
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Promote and upsell products to increase sales
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and new arrivals
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling customer inquiries
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
