About the job:
You will be based primarily on the shop floor, serving customers, handling cash, processing card payments, restocking shelves, maintaining tidiness and cleanliness of the premises, and providing great customer support.
Ideally, you will be based in Saltney (CH4 8SX) but also able to attend our other site in Ellesmere Port (CH65 5EU) occasionally, but we will accept applications for just Saltney if transport is difficult.
Our opening hours are 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, and 10:00 to 16:00 on Saturday. Ideally you will work 40 hours per week, and your working days/hours will be negotiated prior to starting and may be changed later with your agreement.
About you:
You are honest, trustworthy, and willing to learn. You are punctual, motivated and have a professional manner. You have good verbal English and are physically able to lift and carry goods. We are especially keen to receive applications from motivated individuals wishing to develop within our fast-growing business.

You will begin on a one-month trial during which you will learn the various aspects of the job from fellow colleagues. The salary and annual leave entitlement will be £23,000 and 28 days respectively. After the trial, if you have performed well, you will be offered a permanent position.
