Retail Assistants in Luton
Pay: £11.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Job Type: Full-time, Shift-based
Location: Luton Airport
Shift Schedule:
- Two Earlies: 4 am – 1 pm
- Two Lates: 1 pm – 10 pm
- Two Days Off
Responsibilities:
- Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the retail area.
- Restock shelves and merchandise displays as needed.
- Handle transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver a positive shopping experience.
- Adapt quickly to a fast-paced and busy environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing demands.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
