We’re recruiting for a retail focused BDM to join a thriving company who specialise in industrial safety. If successful, you will be developing new opportunities, strengthen existing relationships and grow the business within new and existing markets.
The purpose is to establish senior relationships, develop value proposition and demonstrate the company as a key player in the damage prevention space.
Key Responsibilities for a Retail BDM:
- Create quarterly plans for all customers with clear goals to achieve revenue
- Hubspot updated for all leads, calls and pipeline
- Monthly meetings with Purchasing, Projects and Customer Services to ensure forecasted stock and installation teams in place
- Quarterly CFT’s on top customers with Operations team
- Develop strong relationships with all levels in the diamond relationship at key customers
- Ensure current and potential customers are fully up to date with new products and services
- Travel throughout the UK and visit prospects and key accounts on a regular basis
- Present to key contacts relating to new products and solutions
Essential Skills for a Retail BDM:
- Experience within the retail industry - logistics, operations, back office
- Knowledge of the retail industry
- Target driven and results focused
- Good interpersonal skills
- Customer Focused
- Able to work in a complex environment with conflicting demands
- Self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a challenging environment
