Retail Collections Analyst

Swindon – Hybrid

About the role

If you are successful in this role, you will join the Collections team who play a vital part in guaranteeing our success as a company. As a Retail Collection Analyst your role is to provide the quality analysis and rigorous financial control necessary to adequately inform and support Company policy. You will be closely working alongside and supporting the Retail Collectors by creating and monitoring of the various databases within Collections. Furthermore, you will be working with the Collections Team Manager and providing database dashboards in order to help monitor the resource within the Team.

Day to day you be working autonomously, using skills and tools provided to help support the collections team on quality analysis and rigorous financial control necessary.

About you

As a Retail Customer Analyst, you will need attention to detail as you must be able to deal with vast volumes of data. We need someone who has excellent administration skills and is highly organised, with excellent Excel skills and ruthless efficiency, whilst operating under time pressures. A process person who can work flexibly and hit deadlines, dependable and completely comfortable taking complete ownership for the work assigned to you. Equipped with confident communication skills, you will also understand the importance of teamwork and collaboration.

Lastly, you will need to be a team player - happy to share ideas and enjoy following processes and policies. Making sure we comply with governance and advise the Collections Team Manager and Collections Manager on any issues which cause a deviation from the business plan or where major risks, or opportunities are identified.

Key Skills Required

·        Advanced knowledge of Excel

·        Experience of working in a financial services environment, ideally in Collections

·        Excellent communicator

·        Comply with all requirements from regulatory bodies

·        Good analytical, mathematical, and organisational skills

·        Attention to detail
