Business area: Nespresso Job Title: Retail Development Project Lead

Location: Crawley (with weekly travel across UK & Ireland)

Salary: £40k to £50k depending on experience + potential bonus + other fantastic benefits including Nespresso Coffee Machine and monthly allowance of capsules.

Position Summary

The Nespresso team have a fantastic new role in our Retail Operations Team as a Retail Development Project Lead. The role reports into our Property & Retail Development Manager and will support the planning, execution, and management of our Retail Development Projects for the Nespresso Brand across the UK & Ireland through our boutique network and trade partners. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our retail stores are designed and built to the highest standards, reflecting our brand image and providing an exceptional customer experience.

A day in the life of a Retail Development Project Lead

The Retail Development Project Lead will work very closely with both internal and external stakeholders including Nespresso HQ, architects, and contract partners to manage all property projects both large and small. You will also:

Support channel-related trade and boutique projects from initiation to execution by developing the project planning and employing appropriate project management approaches, processes, and tools. Coordinate trade and boutique communication campaigns related to projects. Evaluate and update procedures related to trade and boutique project management processes. Conduct site visits to all live UK and Ireland boutique and trade partner projects. Follow up and monitor timely implementation of the defect list after a project. Manage small furniture adaptations/replenishments/improvements according to boutique needs.

What will make you successful?

The successful candidate will have strong project management experience in retail and trade locations. Both internal and external stakeholder management experience is crucial with the ability to manage expectations and meet deadlines. You will also have:

The ability to co-ordinate multiple and complex projects in a timely manner. Strong knowledge of retail store design, construction, and fixture installation processes. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent presentation, analytical and communication skills. Strong sense of curiosity, innovative mind-set & courage to make an impact. Ability to travel as needed across the UK & Ireland for site visits and project coordination.
