Retail Events & Marketing Manager

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced trade marketeer or events manager who loves the on trade. This person will help shape the future direction of this progressive pub company and build awareness of own brands within it.
This brewery, based in West Yorkshire, has a fantastic reputation and huge credibility in the beer world. They are looking for someone to bring their passion for beer marketing and expert knowledge of the on trade to this role, and take ownership for creating the group marketing strategy for the pub co side of the business, as well as leading and developing the retail marketing team.
With a super passionate founder and a fantastic team culture, this is a role that will be extremely rewarding for the right person.

This well-respected brewery produces an award winning portfolio of beers, which feature in some of the best on and off trade venues in the UK, and have a pub estate of over 30 quality venues, mainly across the north.
Why this role?
You'll be in taking charge of the marketing strategy for the pub co side of the business, shaping its future and building brand awareness in venues. You'll thrive on creating multi-channel campaigns and identifying new opportunities to drive commercially viable corporate events. With natural communication and leadership skills, you'll enjoy building key relationships internally and externally and be the gatekeeper of the brand in the pub estate.
You….
Background in events/ FMCG trade marketing and a real passion for the industry
Creative and strategic thinker, with great problem solving skills
Understanding of the drinks industry and its regulations, professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation
Ability to develop strong relationships with cross departmental team members to enable collaboration, advice sharing, and directional leadership
A natural leader who's excited to shape the team and develop their skills
This role is based at office HQ in Ossett but you'll also be spending time within the pub estate venues. Salary dependent on experience, £40-50k.
