Retail Hub Manager

Our shops play a vital role in raising the essential funds for our Charity, and we are expanding in north Cambridgeshire. We are looking for a Retail Hub Manager to join our new shop in the town of March.

This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for providing management oversight, direction and support to the shop/hub.

Main duties will include:

• Ensuring maximum income generation is achieved, managing the merchandise, stock and promotions within the shop/hub
• Supporting the recruitment, training and development of new staff members and volunteers
• Ensuring operational procedures and policies are being followed, including Health & Safety and manual handling
• Overseeing stock levels, ensuring that each of our retail settings have a good level of goods, alongside planning the distribution and rotation of stock between shops in the region

We are looking for a Retail Hub manager who has an interest in sustainable fashion, understands the importance of community, and loves working with and supporting people to enjoy passions through volunteering. You will bring your innovation manage the shop, and you won’t be phased by a busy productive retail setting. You will be motivated by driving income in the shop, also motivating those around you through regular communication and engagement.

To be successful in this role, you will have a good general education with excellent verbal, numerical and written skills. Previous experience of working in a similar retail environment with and experience of income and expenditure reporting and people management will also be required.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must have a UK driving licence to be able to drive vehicles within our fleet.

Please note our shop operates 7 days per week, therefore, you will be working on a shift basis which will include weekends.

Starting salary of £25,650, with opportunities to progress to £28,148. Please note that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and needs to be pro-rata’d for part time posts. We regret that we are unable to negotiate salary above the maximum stated within the advert.
