MEDIA MANAGER - RETAIL MEDIA MANAGER


Reporting directly into the Head of Retail Media -Pure Players, The Retail Media Manager will be leading the planning and execution of Retail Media campaigns for the cosmetics category (Maybelline, Nyx, L'Oréal Paris, Essie), with strong focus on Amazon Media campaigns.

Responsibilities


Full Funnel Media Planning

    Lead Pure Players media strategy across all our cosmetic brands (Maybelline, L’Oréal Paris, Nyx Professional Make Up) to drive the brands’ online market share ambition via full funnel campaign strategy, optimisation and test and learn, with a strong focus on Amazon Media.

    Lead our media agency for your designated brands/category to drive the desired KPIs (revenue, Share of voice, ROI). This include but it’s not limited to: briefing in campaigns, reviewing performance with them, ensure they have all the brand information they need to succeed

    Partner with our Pure Player Media commercial team (Amazon, The Hut Group, Asos), to understand product priorities and how media activation can help achieving sell-out targets in your category

    Partner with Online Brand Managers and Brand Leaders/Directors across all CPD brands and categories to plan, implement, review and improve performance media strategies, such as launching NPD on the retailer’s website or winning market share on core SKUs.

    Support the Head of Performance Media with broader strategy, goal setting and reporting. Participate in cross functional meetings to showcase the results and strategy for your retailers and brands


Digital Innovation

    Lead the test and learn agenda of owned category to evaluate media placements profitability and optimisation leavers. 

    Work with the Head of Performance media to transform the way we run Amazon media: from fragmented media activation across several teams to one single budget owner (yourself) activating across the full marketing funnel (Amazon Awareness, Display, Search and Loyalty).

    Continuously assess opportunities to grow market share within the accounts and propose relevant changes in strategy, optimisation, involving but not limited to testing new placements or audiences.

    Report to CDMO team on digital innovations you lead, sharing the results and learnings that can be applied to other divisions


Cross-functional Projects


    Lead and/or support on cross-functional projects involving our Brand, Business Development and Commercial stakeholders such as improving Gen Z penetration on basket size on Amazon 


You have


    Experience in a digital media role with recent and relevant experience on Amazon media (Amazon Search, Display)

    Experience managing a digital agency  

    The ability to build good relationships and networks internally and externally, and leverage these to achieve your objectives. You’ll be working within a matrix team where collaborating across several functions is crucial for success

    To be a self-starter, someone who can identify opportunities and leverage these rapidly to solve business solutions.  

    Strong analytical and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate key insights clearly 

    Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work flexibly, autonomously and take ownership for resolution 

    Demonstrate an ability to manage own time and follow up on actions
