Business Development Manager – Retail Intelligence
Salary £60k
Our client are looking for a real BDM who enjoys the hunting of new business. So if you love driving new business and come from a Business Intelligence or a SAAS sell, subscriptions, ideally with retail experience (but not essential) then we want to hear from you!

As part of the wider Marketing Solutions Division you will be joining a 300 strong team working in over 50 markets globally.

What you’ll be doing:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our clients location Intelligence team within in the Retail sector.
Our clients team enable some of the largest global brands to spend less and sell more, by ensuring they invest the right resources in the right locations at the right time. Whether this is through value driven software solutions or professional consultancy services that deliver measurable change anywhere in the world. You will be working with household names and include the likes of Unilever, Philip Morris, Nestle, Mondelez, AB InBev and many more.
You will be delivering innovative Route to Market strategies covering all channels (D2C, field, store, partner and digital etc.), that are deployed to provide seamless customer experiences and maximum sales impact.
Who you are:
- You will ideally have, Business Intelligence experiences or subscriptions or SAAS
- New business experience essential
- Closing large ticket sales
- Results driven with a professional approach to Business Development and a successful track record
- Ability to uncover and numerate business issues
- Ability to lead multi-disciplined teams
- Strong bid management skills
- Good understanding of all Microsoft Office products
Ideally you will also have:
Experience of working in the FMCG/CPG sectors would be of benefit although not essential.
Flexibility:
This role is hybrid so you will spend days at home and days in the office.
Development:
Your development is key and is a top priority for our client. Therefore they offer 3 types of training: externally run consulting courses, externally run bespoke courses and internal courses. Everyone has different training requirements which means everyone has their own training plan. A bespoke training plan will be created for you when you join our client!
