Retail Recycling Manager
This role is truly amazing and you will be forming part of a very well known charitable organisation based near Dewsbury.
The purpose of the role is to assist in optimising the income generated from waste/recycling products which have been donated, feeding the income back into other initiatives throughout the revenue chain for maximum exposure.
You will oversee the Department ensuring that all waste/recycling methods meet the organisations ethical and environmental standards.
- Follow movement of waste streams from source to recovering
- Maintain existing and develop new high value national recycling contracts
- Manage the recycling of commercial waste from various retail sources, textile recycling and hazardous waste.
- You will report on collections/retrieval’s feeding back to various sources, such as Sponsors, Contractors and other 3rd parties
- Follow the charitable organisational beliefs
Candidate Requirements
- Must have experience of working with Recycling/Waste
- Commercially aware
- Ability to plan projects from start to finish
- Financial management/budget management experience
- Experience of working with Contractors and 3rd parties
- Experience of managing high value contracts
- Negotiation skills
- Able to transpose data into reports
- KPI driven/aware
- Ability to lead your team
The role will involve meeting with Contractors, other business locations throughout the UK therefore a Car Driver is essential.
The hours of work are 36 hours per week Monday to Friday – full-time.
An annual salary of £36,800.
