Carpet Design and Flooring Ltd is a Family run business based in Huyton Liverpool. We supply and install carpets, laminates, vinyls and safety floors through our retail store to private consumers, schools, hotels, offices etc throughout the North West
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in store or at their home in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving issues
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Merchandise products
- Demonstrate product knowledge and provide recommendations to customers
- Meet or exceed sales goals through effective upselling techniques
-Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, 9am-5pm (30min lunch) on a 2 week rota Monday - Saturday followed by Tuesday to Friday
Experience:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not essential
- Strong phone etiquette skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Full UK Driving licence required
- Salary is £22000 + commission payable, with OTE of £30000. A guaranteed commission of £400 is paid for the first 3 months
