Retail Security/Cleaner Dual Role

Hours: On average 48 hours per week, 4 On 4 Off, Day, Night & Weekend shifts as per site rota. 15:00pm - 00:00am, 16:00 - 01:00am, 16:00pm - 02:00am, 09:00am - 18:00pm & 06:00am - 15:00pm.

Pay: £11.85 per hour.

The officer will be required to conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre.

They will be part of a five man team. Light cleaning duties, which are conducted when the centre is closed is involved. Training will be provided.

Person Specification

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence / CCTV licence preferred - can train on site till CCTV licencing completed.
• A full five year checkable employment history
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• An ability to work as part of a team
• An enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach
• IT skills

Responsibilities

The Security Officer will be required to:

• Act as the first point of contact for visitors to the site
• Liaise with client to fulfil security requirements on site
• Complete various security documentation
• Liaise with supervisor / manager effectively and efficiently
• Protect the image of high profile client and Kingdom
• Supervise and control site access
• Conduct regular site patrols.
• Where appropriate and trained act as incident first responder
