Retrofit Assessor

Warm Front Ltd are looking for an experienced Retrofit Assessor to join our team, carrying out assessments on properties for ECO4 and The Great British Insulation Scheme. We work on nationwide contracts. The role will include training for the surveying of Cavity Wall and Loft Insulation which will be an add on to your potential earnings. The candidate must be a qualified Retrofit Assessor and DEA with a full UK driving license, to be considered for the position. We have our own in house Retrofit Coordinators so you will be working closely with these personnel providing an effective end to end process. Warm Front pride ourselves on Health and Safety practices, so it's paramount the candidate has a good and clear understanding of what is required as an individual.

Job Role Description -

Your role will be to attend domestic properties to

• Carry out E.P.C.s.
• Complete Occupancy Assessments.
• Complete Condition Reports.
• Cavity Wall Insulation Survey.
• Loft Insulation Survey.

You will be working Monday-Friday and occasional weekends as required

Essential Skills:

• Must have good customer service skills.
• Communicate with colleagues giving clear and concise information from site visits.
• Must have the drive to complete tasks in the relevant timescales.
• Motivated to learn and continually develop expertise.
• Able to demonstrate commitment and drive at the same time as flexibility.
• Full UK driving license required.

What are the Roles of a Retrofit Assessor/surveyor?

• To carry out full retrofit assessments.
• Evidence all notes from site including Geo tagged Photographs.
• Drill external walls checking cavities for insulation.
• Accessing loft area checking depth, adequate ventilation and condition.
• Work with all managers to provide feedback on any issues gathered from site visits.
• Maintain your level of competence.
• Communicate and liaise with customers on site giving advice and promoting our business.
• All paperwork is completed fully per job.
• Liaison with line Manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• surveying: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
• DEA and Retrofit Assessor Certification (required)
