Returns Operative

Job Description:
As a Returns Operative, you will play a crucial role in managing the process of returned goods within the company. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently handle returned merchandise, ensuring that items are processed accurately and in a timely manner. You will work closely with various departments such as customer service, warehouse, and quality control to facilitate the return process smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving Returned Merchandise: Receive returned items from customers or other departments, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided and accurately recorded.
Inspecting Returned Items: Examine returned items to determine their condition and validate whether they meet the company's return policy criteria. This may involve checking for damages, missing components, or signs of wear.
Sorting and Categorising: Sort returned items based on their condition, reason for return, and other relevant criteria. Categorize items for further processing, such as restocking, refurbishing, or disposal.
Data Entry and Documentation: Record relevant information regarding returned items into the company's database or inventory management system. Ensure accuracy in documenting quantities, reasons for return, and any necessary follow-up actions.

Hours are
08.30 - 16.30
Pay Rate;
11.77 p/h
