Warehouse Returns Spares And Service Operative

We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Returns, Spares and Service Operative to join our team in Northampton with immediate start.

The Warehouse Operative will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Operation of labour-saving devices - FLT, Bendi Truck and man rider pallet carrying machines.
• Collation and put away of goods/parts received using computerised RF Scanner.
• Loading of outbound vehicles.
• Receipt of returned goods and collation and preparation for return to stock.
• Servicing & repairs of returned goods for customers and to stock. Training provided.
• Servicing & repairs of showroom display products. Training provided.
• Collation packing and allocation of goods and parts.
• Unloading containers/lorries for goods receiving via mechanical handling equipment and by hand as part of a team.

In order to be considered for this position you will have gained the following skills, attributes and experience:

• Able to undertake heavy lifting as required;
• Be in possession of a counterbalance forklift licence. Being in possession of a Pivot Steer, (Bendi/Flexi), Truck Licence would be advantageous.

Remuneration

The weekly wage rate: £468.08 for 40 hours per week plus paid overtime if required.

In addition, there is a discretionary bonus of earning up to £30 per week.

Hours of Work

The hours of work for this position will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00.

Pro rata -29 days holiday per year (including bank holidays. During the first year taken on an accrual basis).
