Our client is looking for a Revit Technician to join their award-winning multi-disciplinary Building Services Design Consultancy. The firm specialise in Mechanical & Electrical Design, Energy/Carbon Reductions, Sustainability, and Compliancy services across a range of sectors within the built environment.
Revit Technician Requirements:
- BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Environmental, Construction or similar
- Proficient on Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe
- Experience in a similar role within MEP industry
- Brilliant communication skills, written and verbal
- AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT experience
Revit Technician Duties:
- Prepare drawings in both Revit MEP & AutoCAD MEP CAD packages to meet the requirements of projects
- Create templates for each discipline/sub-discipline
- Produce clash free designs
- Modell and co-ordinate MEP services i.e. ductwork, pipework, cable tray etc. using REVIT MEP.
- Create legends and schedules
- Assist the M&E and Sustainability team where required through AutoCAD/MEP software packages
- Liaise with clients, professional teams, and contractors
- Create and amend families of Revit MEP Objects/tags/annotations
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current industry regulatory and design standards
- Support junior staff and apprentices
