Risk and Compliance Administrator - Southport, Merseyside
Fantastic opportunity to join a leading global business with impressive expansion plans looking for an experienced Risk and Compliance Administrator to join the team.
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years' experience in a similar field, ideally possessing a related degree in Finance or Business who wants to progress their career. Based in Southport, Merseyside offering a state of the art office environment, friendly and supportive colleagues and free on-site parking. (Due to the head office location it is important that people can drive and have access to a vehicle). Owing to the sensitivity around GDPR and FCA Compliance, this is an office based role, Monday-Friday.

The primary role of the Risk and Compliance Administrator is to assist the Head of Compliance to protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the business. This is done by following the business’ Compliance policies and procedures, ensuring that all corporate processes and procedures comply with the law, and internal standards. The Risk and Compliance Administrator reports to the Head of Compliance.
The role involves:
· Monitoring and updating of risk registers, Supplier due diligence checks, Privacy impact assessments. Business impact assessments
· General company compliance. Marketing material reviews. GDPR support. Policy and processes reviews
· SOP writing, Horizon scanning, Support Risk and Compliance frameworks, Collaborating with audit and governance administrator
· Providing training and support to internal departments
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
· 2+ years of experience in governance, compliance, or a related field in the UK financial industry.
· Knowledge of UK regulatory requirements, including FCA regulations.
· Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
