Job Description
Our client, a law firm, based in Reading, is currently hiring for a Risk and Compliance Manager to work independently in an advisory role ensuring best practice and Compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform risk assessments to understand the level, significance and scope of risk to the company and then report on the findings
- Regularly review and manage policies, systems and controls relating to Risk and Compliances, breaches and reporting any breaches found
- Review and manage anti-money laundering policies and procedures and ensure the company is compliant
- Be the
- first point of contact for the companies data protection enquiries
- Investigate and recommend any course of action for any client complaints
- Provide Risk and Compliance training
Requirements
- Experience working in a regulated environment within the professional services sector
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build supportive relationships across the company
- Work with other staff members to resolve client conflicts to an acceptable outcome
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to deal with confidential matters with discretion
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday-Friday. This position will be working on a hybrid model.
