The Role
•    Work with WTW account teams to provide Risk Engineering programmes for our international clients.
•    Co-ordinate and manage the execution of surveys on a global basis to the satisfaction of clients and with the involvement of market engineers, as appropriate.

•    Develop risk improvement recommendations that are clear, appropriate and are fairly balanced between the interests of clients and insurers.
•    Prepare Risk Engineering reports to assist in the placement of client insurance programmes, in a timely manner.

The Requirements

•    Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical subject, such as engineering.   Membership of a relevant technical association such as IChemE, IMechE or IFE is preferable.
•    Risk management qualifications or relevant accreditations.
•    Comfortable travelling extensively (approximately 80 days per year) both within and outside of the UK.
•    Self-starter, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively relate to individuals at all levels – from site technicians up to company CEOs.
•    Proven ability to write detailed reports of a varied technical nature, which are accurate, concise and show good attention to detail.
•    Experience of working with NFPA, FM and other international property conservation codes.
•    Working knowledge of fire protection and detection systems.
•    Knowledge of NATCAT risks and mitigations.
At WTW, we believe difference makes us stronger. We want our workforce to reflect the different and varied markets we operate in and to build a culture of inclusivity that makes colleagues feel welcome, valued and empowered to bring their whole selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive work environment throughout our organisation. We embrace all types of diversity.
Our work style: At WTW, we trust you to know your work and the people, tools and environment you need to be successful. The majority of our colleagues work in a ”hybrid” style, with a mix of remote, in-person and in-office interactions dependent on the needs of the team, role and clients. Our flexibility is rooted in trust and “hybrid” is not a one-size-fits-all solution. You can also benefit from flexible working opportunities, such as part-time working, and will have control over your work-life balance.
