The successful candidate will work within a newly created Assurance function, is a critical role in supporting best in class Information Governance within this forward thinking and progressive local authority.

As the RIIG Officer, you will support the Risk, Insurance and Information Governance Manager in delivering best in class RIIG service, but most notably specialising in Information Governance advice and guidance as well as playing a key role in supporting business owners to produce Data Protection Impact Assessments and conducting data breach investigations.
