This temporary role, within the newly created Assurance function, is a critical role in supporting best in class Information Governance within this forward thinking and progressive local authority.
As the RIIG Officer, you will support the Risk, Insurance and Information Governance Manager in delivering best in class RIIG service, but most notably specialising in Information Governance advice and guidance as well as playing a key role in supporting business owners to produce Data Protection Impact Assessments and conducting data breach investigations.
If you have Information Governance experience and you have ambition, enthusiasm and energy, this role is for you!
We are currently working to a hybrid model - with a flexible mix of home and office based working.
A basic DBS Check is required for the post.
- Hours: 36 Hours per Week
- Base Location: Hybrid / Tameside
- Place, Ashton-under-Lyne,
- Basic DBS required
- Pay rate: 16.06 p/h
