This role helps maintain an effective Risk Management framework by supporting the delivery of the Risk Management objectives of IT Risk Oversight in line with the society’s three lines of defence framework.
This role will involve supporting the oversight of first line activities across the Digital and Technology functions including all the functions of IT and Cyber Security.
Key responsibilities:
- Support with the delivery of oversight monitoring reviews
- Support with project oversight
- Undertake controls testing
- Support with ISO27001:2022 controls testing and validation
- To prepare summary management information

About You
You will need to have successfully completed the second year of your studies and intend to return to university to complete your final year at the end of your placement. We are interested in all specialisms however you should have a desire to work in business and financial services.
You will need to be able to demonstrate:
- Confidence to communicate effectively via different methods of communication
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- An ability to work both independently and within a team
- Willingness to commit to your own development

Our IT Risk Oversight Team provide oversight and support to Digital & Technology teams to ensure IT risks have been adequately identified, quantified and managed. This, in turn, supports an independent view to the business of its exposure to IT Risks.
