Ropes / GWO Instructor

3t is currently looking to recruit a Ropes / GWO Instructor on a permanent contract located in Teesside, UK.

3t Training Services is the UK’s largest and leading provider of training for the oil and gas, wind, and power industries, and a major player globally, whilst also making a significant impact on the wider and utilities sectors including gas, electric, and water.

The Role

To deliver 3t’s approved suite of courses within the given subject area at 3t training centres in a consistent, professional way which reflects 3t’s business integrity and culture.

• To deliver training courses to the highest standards in line with awarding body requirements
• To supervise the delegates throughout theoretical and practical training sessions ensuring all exercises are conducted in a competent, safe and professional manner.
• On completion of theoretical and practical training / assessments, compile individual delegate assessment records ensuring that all relevant sections are completed and specific comments are detailed.
• To obtain positive customer feedback following course completion
• To participate in standardisation and continuing professional development events as required
• To provide support to trainee and existing Instructor/Assessors as appropriate
• To support department growth through technical input to new courses, training standards, customer meetings and the continual improvement of existing courses.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.
• Ensure that all 3t quality and operational procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Maintain and embrace ownership of departmental policies and procedures.

Essential Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Award
• Assessor Award
• Relevant qualifications and / or appropriate work experience

Skill set relevant to one or more of the below courses:

IRATA Rope Access – Levels 1 – 2

• All instructors must hold an IRATA L2 certificate as a minimum and a relevant first aid qualification as a minimum.

GWO Working at Height Training

• All instructors must hold relevant qualifications and / or appropriate work experience specifically work at heights.

GWO ART – Advanced Rescue Training

• All instructors must hold relevant qualifications and / or appropriate work experience specifically work at heights.
• Skylotec qualification desired

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
