The successful candidate will be expected to support and train less experienced staff and to be a clinical educator to students from a number of different universities across the country. There will also be opportunities for being involved in service development, research, audit and education to MDT professions at pre and post registration level. The ESDS and CINSS rotations are community based and cover Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. There is the potential to work across community clinics within the CINSS rotation. There are rotations based at Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital and Braunstone Health and Social Care Centre. To be successfully shortlisted for this post you must demonstrate that you have experience of working with stroke or neurology patients and a genuine desire to work in this field and for excellence in healthcare. We will expect you to demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills and the ability to work on your own and within a team. Two of the rotations requires a car that can be used for work purposes and a UK driving licence. A basic respiratory skill set would be desirable for a successful candidate. Training will be offered as required. The rotation works across the organisations of UHL and LPT. As part of closer working relationships between the 2 organisations successful candidates will be able to complete the full rotation working in all clinical areas. please see job description/person specification for further details on the role
