SalaryOur client, a IT business based in the Eastbourne area, is on the market looking for a RPG Analyst Programmer. The successful candidate will work alongside the IT department.
About the role
- To enhance the existing systems
- Fixing any problems that occur
- To develop new and improved systems for the business
- Working on the support desk when required to support new and existing clients
About you
- To have at least 3 years of current and solid RPG programming experience with RPG400, RPGLE, Free Format RPG, CL, SQL, FTP
- To be able to work under pressure and stick to tight deadlines
- Experience with EDIFACT standard and B2B communications including API connectivity
- To be able to work in a team environment and also using your own initiative
- The ability to troubleshoot and deal with queries quickly
