Overview: - HIAB Tramping
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Hgv 1 Driver to join our team. As a Hgv 1 Driver with commercial driving experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods to our clients in Goole.
THIS IS A TRAMPING ROLE and a HIAB TICKET IS REQUIRED
Responsibilities: - THIS IS A TRAMPING ROLE and a HIAB TICKET IS REQUIRED
- Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle with Hiab equipment
- Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner
- Load and unload materials using the Hiab crane
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Skills: THIS IS A TRAMPING ROLE and a HIAB TICKET IS REQUIRED
- Valid HGV Class 1 license with no more than 6 penalty points
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving
- Proficient in operating Hiab equipment
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
