We are recruiting a full-time, hardworking, professional and responsible Class 1 tilt/c/side driver who can commit to exceptional attendance due to the continuous growth of our client’s business.
About the HGV Driver Class 1 role
- To work as a tramper or daytime driver Mon – Fri and cover ADR packages, collections and deliveries as required, Saturday morning is often offered for interested candidates.
- A full, clean LGV Class 1 ADR licence
- Carrying dangerous goods in accordance with the “transportation of dangerous goods by road”/ADR regulations
- To demonstrate experience in stripping down a European trailer essential
- Follow all required Health & Safety procedures
- Start time varies between 04.30 am and 09.00 am
- Nationwide deliveries
- Long-term temporary, stable full-time work available
The Ideal Candidate should have
- Very good geographical knowledge of the UK road network and experience of all local docks
- An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Have attained a good understanding of driver hours & road traffic directive
- Demonstrate excellent driving ability, being safe and courteous at all times
- To work to their high standards by delivering on time, in perfect condition and ensuring the security of their vehicle at all times.
- Essential first class, customer service and good attitude whilst working under pressure.

Driving a Class 1 HGV vehicle with attached trailers loaded with general haulage, which will be collected from the dock and delivered to clients nationally using the quickest transport routes.
