Rta Team Leader

This company is a leading law firm in the UK, specializing in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims. They are currently seeking an experienced RTA Team Leader to join their Road Traffic Accidents department.Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload while supervising 3-5 junior fee earners in the department.- Handle cases from cradle to grave, dealing with all stages from portal to trial.- Be an experienced RTA Litigator (4 years plus) who knows the entire process.- Deal with majority fast track cases, but also handle multi-track work from high-quality non-CMC sources.- Lead the team from the front and be a pragmatic and tenacious individual with a keen eye for detail.Requirements:- Proven billing track record of handling a litigated caseload from cradle to grave.- Genuine tenacity and confidence in dealing with and using the CPR to win.- Excellent client care ability, with a passion for achieving the best possible outcome for clients.- People management skills, able to offer strong supervision to juniors.- Demonstrable experience of dealing with litigated files from inception, through applications and challenges, to trial/disposal hearing.- Knowledge of Proclaim case management system.Salary, Hours & Benefits:- Basic salary up to £40k, with a very generous commission scheme, paid monthly in arrears.- Standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am to 5pm Friday.- Alternative working from home pattern staff after probation.- 23 days holiday a year, rising to 26 days (3 days reserved for Christmas closure of the office).- 3 holiday buybacks per year after 1 year of service.- Extra day's holiday for your birthday after 2 years' service.- Private medical insurance available after 2 years' service.- Death in Service - 2 x salary.- Active social committee with generous departmental and firm-wide social budget.- Active training culture and various groups and events such as Diversity & Inclusion.- Netball/Football team, 10km Manchester team and more.- Enhanced Maternity Leave payment if you have over 1 year tenure.- Other benefits including Employee Assistance Programme, free fruit & annual flu jab.If you are an experienced RTA Litigator with a proven billing track record and people management skills, then this is the opportunity for you.
