Multiple requirements for senior Ruby on Rails developers exist for applicants with a Full Stack or Back End bias. This team will be spear heading a new set of functionality for the platform, while working with the wider development team. The company culture, despite 100% remote working, is very collaborative with Pair programming, a key feature in their development strategy.
They hire people, not skills. Of course, as a senior developer within the Ruby on Rails team, the expectation is you will be a seasoned user. However, they are open to applicants with a bias in other languages alongside their Ruby skills; recognising a quality developer is more than just a language.
You can expect a voice at the table with input on architecture, product design and tool choice. Exposure to a product and TDD environment will benefit your integration as will knowledge of developing for the cloud.
