Safeguarding Children in Education Officer - Fixed Term

The role

The role of Safeguarding Children in Education Officer (SCiE Officer) is based within the integrated MASH and Early Help Front Door for children, adults and families.

We are looking to recruit somebody who is able to provide support and safeguarding advice to education providers. You will be responsible for making key decisions and recommendations timely and will work closely with Children’s Social Care colleagues within the MASH as well as our Early Help Support team.

As well as providing advice to schools/colleges you will also visit them and undertake an annual safeguarding audit.

DBS clearance is required.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
